Have you heard of these organizations?

  • Engineering Advisory Council
  • Georgia Society of Professional Engineers
  • Vegetarian Society
  • Students for Life
  • Photography Club
  • Odyssey of the Mind
  • Youth for Environmental Sustainability
  • Ducks Unlimited

These organizations were once strong and thriving here at Tech. Unfortunately, all of these organizations are no longer around. Don't let your organization find itself on this list!

Find out ways to keep your organization up and running through the Organizational Sustainability Workshop, part of the AIESEC Sustainability Series. This workshop will address inefficient meetings, ensuring future leadership, enhancing current leadership, long term survival, your organizations' individual concerns, and much much more!

Brought to you by AIESEC and Marita Sullivan of Tech's Office of Organizational Development, this event will not only teach you how to keep your organization vibrant and effective, it will also allow you to interact and discuss with other student leaders about your own problems and experiences. Through this combination of professional expertise and student discussion, you will learn what is needed to keep your organization sustainable.

Who should attend?

This is a topic that applies equally to all student organizations, and we're hoping to bring in viewpoints from each organization. Specifically, the following people will benefit most:
  • Current officers.
  • Newly elected officers or people interested in being officers.
  • Executive Board members of fraternities and sororities.
  • People interested in starting a student organization.
  • Anyone else interested in leading his or her organization!

Logistics

The workshop will take place Monday, April 16 from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. in room 200 of the College of Management. You do have to register, but it is completely free! Food will be provided. Registration closes at 11:59 p.m. on Friday, April 13!
